Copies of the latest Postal Order catalogue by Michael Brill are are still available price £10 post free. This is an essential guide to British Postal Orders. It does not cover overseas overprints and specimens. Comes with a July 2007 update published in Postal Order News.........Mal

There are still a few of Michael's catalogue left. If there is any interest. We can also supply copies of Howard Lunn's book and Cribb's.

The Ceylon Study Circle has just published a booklet about the Postal Commission stamps of 1888-1890 used to defray the fee for postal orders redeemed after their validity had expired. Their use on normal mail was allowed. No postal orders are known with stamps affixed but the overprinted stamps themselves can be found. And a few used covers with the stamps on are known.

I haven't seen any catalogues for the postal orders of Bangladesh,India (including British India & Indian Princely States),Pakistan,or Sri Lanka.

I am giving a talk on Postal Orders in three weeks time. Whilst I have Cribbs book I am keen to get a copy of Brills. Can anyone help ?
